Association Salutes 2004 Retirees at Annual Retirement Dinner

 

The AEA Board of Trustees honored the 2004 Retirement Class on November 8 at Akron University’s Martin Center. Nearly forty retirees attended the dinner. In the captions below, names of the 2004 retirees are italicized. We congratulate the seventy-seven retirees for their dedicated service to the students of APS.

 

 

 

 

Perkins Reunion:  A number of former Perkins teachers held a mini-reunion, including (l-r) Ken Bukowski (Ott), Steve Feldstein, Diana Jones, Ken Jones (Firestone), Nick Munas, Bill Eaton, Darrington Seals, Dave Slifko, and Donna Slifko(North).

Diane May (Riedinger) won a pair of Giant Eagle gift certificates. She used her winnings to buy supplies to make a Gingerbread House, which she donated to the Children's Hospital Tree Festival.
Mick (Kenmore) and Louise (Kent) Papp were joined at the walk by two of their kids, Marisa and Dylan.
