Levy Campaign: Contributions from outside the district are not where we’d like them to be. We hope this changes, but cannot be certain that it will. It is critical that all employees participate in the effort to fund the campaign. Please encourage members to contribute. To date, the campaign has raised approximately 15% of the targeted budget.
Strides Captain Bags: We are close to having a captain in every building. Please remember to pick-up the organization bag for your building after the meeting.
AEA to Offer Corporate Membership at Falls Natatorium: Please watch for publication of the details of a Falls Natatorium corporate discount plan for AEA members. The plan will be announced in the next edition of Random Notes.
Volunteer Forms for Williams Campaign: Members interested in helping Brian Williams’ reelection campaign should complete the volunteer form and get it back to us by September 22. Forms can be returned through the BR or via pony. Brian has a data base of volunteers from the last campaign, but even those who volunteered two years ago should complete the form.
Staffing: Additions/reductions were made in approximately 15 buildings. Enrollment is down close to 600 students.
Middle School Music Supplemental Contracts: We are working on clearing up some confusion over the middle school music supplementals the Board chose not to fill. We will have more info out on this after next Wednesday’s Professional Problems meeting.
