Retired Teachers Dinner
Twenty-two recently retired teachers, accompanied by family and friends, attended AEA's annual retired teacher dinner at Guy's Party Center.  The retirees were recognized for their hard work and and many years of service to the Akron Public Schools.   Innes social studies teacher and off-hours comedian Marv Conner (left) provided entertainment with his humorous take on the teaching profession.  Topics like morning announcements, ditto machines, and even Beauford, the snow-day predicting dog, were part of the fun.  Marv appears regularly at the Funny Stop Comedy Club in Cuyahoga Falls.  Best of luck to all of our retirees.
